I have been given the opportunity to play some memorable shows……  the last couple of weekends are no exception!!

I got to open for Mr. Rhett Akins at Fredrick’s Equipment’s Groundbreaking 2 weekends ago!!  What a great time I had with Russ & Brandon Holder and all the guys that made the groundbreaking possible!!

This past weekend I sang on the race course of Music Moves Me in Huntsville, AL!!  We sat at the corner of Lincoln and Randolph and moved those runners on down the road!!!!  Really cool!!!!

What a Great Day May 1st was!!!

Early Saturday, May 1st, I headed to Lynchburg, TN with my friends, The Holder Family, to the Red Caboose.  Russ, Brandon and I played some music on WLIJ Radio with Mr. Paul Jones.  What a memorable experience!!  I was joined by lots of family and friends and made some new friends while there!!  P.S. The HOBOS with DOBROS ROCK and so did the BBQ at the Caboose……….. we’ll the BBQ I got to eat.  My Little Man ate most of mine and his food, too!  : )

That night I headed to a Ground Breaking Celebration at Fredrick’s Equipment.  What an exciting night!  I got to play with the HOBOS again and open for Mr. Rhett Akins!  And to boot, Mr. MadDog himself introduced me as ‘Cristina Lynn & Her Posse!!  Now how many folks can say that??  We got such a warm reception and I met several new fans!!

I am so blessed to get to do what I do……….. thank you so very much for joining my crazy journey!!!

Hey friends!

There are so many fun and exciting things going on…..  where to begin….

I played 801 Franklin solo a couple weeks back.  A good friend, Dave Stocks, came out and ran sound for me! What fun to hear my friend play some of his original music and to hear myself on his amazing sound system! He built the system….  It rocks!!

On Tuesday night, April 27th, I played Humphrey’s Bar & Grill with my friends, Russ & Brandon Holder!  They are so amazingly talented it’s crazy! We had such a GREAT night with both old and new friends and fans!

Tonight I will be at a private party with my friend, Shane Adkins!!  If you have not heard Shane, you are missing out on a real treat!!

I continue to pinch myself.  I am so blessed to get to do what I do and be surrounded by so many incredible people along the way!!

I was honored to help raise much needed funds for HEALS, Inc. and for Lisa Busler this past Sunday night, April 11th. HEALS provides medical and dental care to several children in the the Huntsville City area and Lisa is a musician who is in need of not only financial help right now, but also many prayers.

At the HEALS benefit, I had the pleasure of meeting some of the Mosley Family that make up Mockingbird Lane. What a great sound!!!! They had a Great turn out!! Thrilled about that!

About 35 musicians played for Lisa! Yep, I said 35!! What an incredible number!! It was an amazing thing to see so many musicians coming together to help a friend!! My friends, Russ and Brandon Holder, joined me…… we had a Blast!!!

You know, just when you think there’s very little good left in the world, things like this happen! I love my life, the people in it and the people I will meet in my future!!

I had such a GREAT time singing some of my original songs and spending some time with both old and new friends last night at the Nashville Palace, which is right across the street from the Opryland Hotel!!  Several songwriting friends attended and strutted their songs on stage….  Ken, Randy, Lisa, Ron, Jerry, MJ, Earl, and James…  we missed you Doug!!  I was thrilled to see a couple of friends, Tom and Chris, there!! Thanks so much for coming out!!

I learned last night that you just never know what might happen on a gig night, so bring a change of clothes.  I ate my dinner and ordered a great, big coffee, which I was wearing very soon after it was delivered.  No worries Polly…..  the show went on!! Soggy bottom and all!!!!  :-)

I am so honored to be a part of 2 wonderful benefits on Sunday night, April 11th!!

The first one will be HEALS on the Green Pro-Am Golf Tournament Cocktail Pre-Party.  It will be held on the patio at The Ledges. For your $50 gift, you will get delicious food, cocktails, putt-putt, and live music.  There will also be a silent aution going on with lots of great stuff to bid on!! I will play around 5 PM and then Mockingbird Lane will finish off the night!!

The second benefit for me that night will be for a fellow musician, Lisa Busler.  Lisa has been an amazing musician around this area and is now very ill.  This will be at Bandito Southside and should be an absolute blast!!  Tons of musicians from the area will be sharing their God-given talents!!  I’ll be playing there around 8:30 PM!!!

I played for the first time this year at Humphrey’s Bar & Grill last Tuesday night!!  What a great night with Russ and Brandon Holder backing me up and helping to make the night really special!!  Many thanks to my friends at Humphrey’s, especially Ralph. Several familiar faces were in the crowd and I met a lot of new friends……  folks from Texas, Canada and Univ of AL!!!

Last Friday night, March 12th, I had the honor of standing in with some friends who helped me get my feet wet fronting for a band.  Many thanks Silver Streak and Happy Birthday Russ!!!! Oh yeah……  we celebrated at Bandito Burrito Southside.  Stay tuned for a possible Cristina Lynn booking with those guys!

Last night, St. Patty’s Day, I played Applebee’s South with Dan Hardin.  We had a great time, met some new friends and I realized all over again how blessed I have been to work with some incredible musicians!!!

This year is picking up!  Don’t miss out on all the new music and all the amazing things going on!!!

Well, I sat down for the first time this year with my friends at the Furniture Factory in Huntsville, AL.  I was blessed to have Mr. Russ Holder sit in with me.  He is such a kind spirit.  I cannot thank him enough…………

I was so humbled by how many friends and fans showed up simply because I was playing last night!  We celebrated birthdays, life and good ol’ music!!  I am so blessed to have so many people around me who have embraced my crazy dream………….. Country Music Artist!

btw……  I made the first page of the Valley Planet, which is a local newspaper around HVS!!  Many thanks to Karen Peterson for the inspiring words and Many thanks to Jill Wood for adding the reveiw to the VP!!

This past Saturday, March 6th, I took a drive to Gadsden, AL with my Mom.  I was scheduled to play for my friend, Danny Moon, at his wonderful venue, MoonSongMusic.  I really did not know much about his venue…..  What a treat!!  He has it decorated beautifully, has a really nice sound system and has delicious homemade food.  To top it off, the people that came out to listen were so warm and kind……  my Mom and I felt like we were surrounded by new friends!!  Many thanks to Danny and all my new friends and fans at MoonSongMusic, www.moonsongmusic.com!!
