Sorry it has been a few weeks since I updated you on what’s happening. I have been non-stop with gigs and finding different ways to market my music. I will be adding videos, pictures and several gig dates in the next few days. I’ll also add a link to a really cool article that was just in this week’s Madison Weekly!!!

The one thing that I absolutely adore about being an artist is all the chances I have to be a part of some incredible events.  On July 31st, I had a chance to share my music to help raise money for the March of Dimes and to celebrate life.

My day began around 5 AM…..  Kevin, Ethan and I hit the road for the Talladega Speedway.  I was scheduled to play for the March of Dime’s ‘Bikers for Babies’ annual fundraiser.  What an incredible event to be a part of!!!  From the warm welcomes, to the Bubba Bump Blues Band, to the bikers who made the trip, to the many volunteers, to the rides around the track and so on and on……  I’ll never forget being a part of such a wonderful event!!  Raising money to help babies……  I didn’t think it could get much better than that…..  but……

We pulled into our driveway around 4:45 PM, packed up my Jeep with sound equipment and headed to celebrate life.  A dear family friend was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia a year ago. After going through chemo and a bone marrow transplant, we are all now looking back on the memories of a very difficult and painful year.  I say looking back and celebrating life…..  today he is just fine and walking around just like any other 9 year old Little Man.  I was so honored when his Mom and Dad asked for my music to be a part of their celebration, but I had no idea how playing this gig would touch my heart and my soul.

Like I said at the beginning.  Being an artist has its’ perks…….  I was so blessed to share my music at 2 unforgettable events!!!  That’s what making memories is all about and that is what my music is all about for me…… touching people so that they reflect and remember each and every blessing of each and every day.

I just booked the BlueBird Cafe’s Sunday Night Songwriter’s Night again!!!  Sunday, Dec. 5th during the 8 PM show!!!  They added me to a list, which they consider for actual rounds during the week and weekends!!! Dreamin’ Big, but hey, somebody has to!!!

Hey Guys!

I am now officially back in action and kicked things off this past Friday night with my friends at the Furniture Factory in HSV, AL.  Russ, Brandon and I had planned to be on their great patio, but the weather had something to say about that.  So, we had a party inside with lots of friends from my email list and some new friends, too!!

On Saturday night we spent some time with the folks at the Huntsville Country Club, which is always so much fun!  I wonder which team won their Men’s Golf Tournament……..

I was blessed and humbled to return to the BlueBird Cafe in Nashville, TN on Sunday night.  I still get butterflies when I think about it.  July 18th was really a memorable night for me! I played solo…… one girl, one voice and one guitar!!!

My family and I had a fantastic trip planned starting last week. We were headed out West for loads of fun, but we didn’t get to go.  I picked up strep, our dog, Adie, got sick and then Ethan was diagnosed with walking pneumonia.  Whew!!! I guess we make plans to break plans…… right? Maybe that’s a Country Song!!!

I’m taking this time to make some memories with my boys and am writing up a storm. I have so many ideas floating around in my crazy head!! Hopefully I can share some with you guys very soon!

Hey Guys,

I had such a blast last night, June 2nd, with my friends at the Furniture Factory! I’m still so humbled by the folks who come out and thankful to them for giving my music a shot!! I’ll be back on that great patio on July 16th!

Tonight, June 3rd, I’m playing a private party for the folks with Toyota! Thanks so much for the invite Cindy!!!

Friday morning will start early for me! I’ve been invited to help do some promo commercials for Huntsville City!! That should be a Blast!

On Saturday night, June 5th, I’ll be back with my friends at 801 Franklin! We’re hoping for good weather so we can use their great patio!!

Well the summer concerts have started!!!

I was in Decatur, AL last night with Melinda Dunn, Steve Owen and their crew for some good times and live music! As we took the stage, the sun disappeared behind the clouds. That was GREAT, but Mr. Wind decided he would sing with me…….  we need to work on those harms a little more.  :-)

I’ll be at the Westin at Bridgestreet tonight and will look forward to the Madison Gazebo Concerts and Huntsville Concerts in the Park along with some others.  Check out my schedule and I hope to sing to you and the people you love very soon!!!

Hey folks!!!

I had a BLAST with my friends, Russ & Brandon Holder, on Tuesday night at Humphrey’s Bar & Grill!!  Several folks made it out and braved the cooler temps to hang on the patio with us and listen to some Country tunes!!!

Just received word that I made the cut for Huntsville Concerts in the Park this year!!  Over 40 applicants, and I made the cut!!!! Woo Hoo!!!! I’ll be there July 26th!!!

I was also on WTAK again last night!!!!!  Well, they played ‘The Next Goodbye’!!!!! It is waaaaaay cool to hear a song you’ve poured your heart and soul into played on the airways for everyone to hear!!!!

I continue to humbled by all the love and support that surrounds me……….
